Chiang Kum Mun
Chiang Kum Mun is a young talented homegrown musician and also a member of the Huqin Quartet. Kum Mun started learning erhu from Zhang Bing Zhao during his secondary school days. In mid-1995, he was awarded the Zubir Said Scholarship by the National Arts Council (NAC) and went to China to pursue a short-term music study in Beijing and Shanghai. Kum Mun is currently the Music Director and Conductor of Cheng San Community Club Chinese Orchestra and the concertmaster of SAF MDC Chinese Orchestra. He is also the Conductor and instructor with various secondary schools.
